goodbye yellowbrick road.

I was not planning on blogging today but I have found the best thing on planet Earth and I had to run home and blog about it. So I was in Walmart buying some beads and I decided to cruise the food isles to see if I wanted anything for my BBQ with my sister. Of course I went straight to the ice cream section (for you see, I am trying to find this ice cream. It is Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Dough, if you know where to find this, notify me immediately!!!) So as I am praying to find my ice cream, I find something 172 x infinity better. I cannot even begin to tell you how much better this gets, actually I can...
me: OMG OMG OMG I JUST DIED AND WENT TO HEAVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF WALMART!!!!
stepgirlfriend: Did Marc Jacobs send you a box of clothes and accessories??
me: NO!! BETTER!!!
I think I rest my case.
The point is, this, this is what I saw in the Walmart freezer...
My knees buckled and I am sure if my mother had not civilized me I would have jumped up and down screaming for three hours, right there in the middle of the aisle. I did however cry. Yes, I cried. I am not ashamed to mention this either. I think we all know how I feel about Elton John.
Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road Ice Cream by Ben & Jerry's.
The weird thing is, this ice cream is jam packed with everything I love. It is almost like it was meant for me! Chocolate ice cream, peanut butter cookie dough, brickle pieces, and white chocolate chunks. Sigh. Oh Ben & Jerry's. John Lennon's Imagine Whirled Peace (omg I cannot get over the chocolate peace signs) used to be my favourite, until 30 minutes ago that is. This just in, I just found out that, of course, Ben & Jerry's makes the oatmeal cookie dough! Not to mention an all coconut ice cream. I am going to go write them a love letter now...
Oh and I wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July or as I like to call it, National BBQ Day!

Sounds well worth trying! Publix here in Florida has the most wonderful ice cream called Moose Tracks. I could eat an entire carton! Oh, it is good stuff.

I posted a pic of the wallet I won in your mother's drawing. Both of you have wonderful taste.

Happy Fourth and enjoy your ice cream...

XO,

Sheila :-)
